Hayle

Hayle – in St Ives Bay - is famous for its three miles of golden sands, perfect for families and keen surfers. The town also has a broad range of shops – including a retail park on the outskirts of the town – numerous restaurants and pubs, and a children’s park. Hayle is also home to Paradise Park, a wildlife sanctuary with a huge indoor soft play area. Hayle estuary is a birdwatchers delight, as it attracts wintering wildfowl such as widgeons, teals, dunlins and grey plovers. Each August the town hosts Hayle Carnival, and the Godrevy Midsummer Swell Board Classic surf competition each June.
