St Martin

St Martin is a tiny village located near the Helford River. The countryside surrounding the Helford River is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, known for its peace and tranquillity. The Prince of Wales, at nearby Newtown (approximately half a mile away) serves both lunch and dinner, and a shop at Gear Farm (on the way to Mawgan) sells bread, meat, fish, pasties and seasonal organic vegetables. Cornish Camels and Rosuick Organic Farm at St Martin is home to a family of Bactrian camels and some wallabies. The farm also has a gift shop and a café, and offers camel rides.
