The site is being developed as an aid for visitors to Cornwall and is a resource for guests with useful information on staying in Cornwall. We will continue to add to this Cornwall guide so that your stay in Cornwall is as enjoyable as possible. Running in conjunction with the website, all Cornish Cottage Holidays guests will receive a Stay card prior to their holiday.   • Abseiling

    Abseiling is an exhilarating introduction to rock activities.

  • Abseiling - Bude

    The slab rock cliffs around Bude offer great conditions for learning to abseil, offering long pitches down to a sparkling sea.

  • Abseiling - Newquay

    There are a few places in Newquay with fixed abseil points where you can learn to abseil in safety while taking in the stunning coastline.

  • Abseiling - Polzeath

    The cliffs of Pentire Point overlooking Polzeath Beach make a good training ground for abseiling groups.

  • Abseiling - Roche Rock

    This imposing granite outcrop in the middle of Cornwall is suitable for abseiling because it has easy access on one side and a sheer rock-face on the other.

  • Abseiling - Sennen

    Sennen is a good place to practice abseiling, presuming you can scramble back out once you reach the rock ledge at the bottom of the cliff.

  • Rock Climbing

    Rock climbing is a fantastic outdoor activity to experience while in Cornwall.

  • Rock Climbing - Bosigran

    Bosigran, near Penzance, is perhaps the best known and arguably the best climbing spot in Cornwall.

    Tucked in beneath Land's End is the Chair Ladder with its golden granite crags, perched above a sparkling blue sea.

  • Rock Climbing - Cheesewring

    You need permission to climb at this abandoned quarry but it is a great place to learn the ropes high on Bodmin Moor.

  • Rock Climbing - Lower Sharpnose Point

    This rock fin juts out into the sea near Bude and offers testing climbing in a remote location.

  • Rock Climbing - Sennen

    Red rock, swirling seas and imposing crags characterise this climbing destination near Sennen village.
