From its beachside location, the Cove Restaurant commands amazing views across Maenporth beach and out to sea. It is fitting then that this marine setting carries on to the kitchen with some fine creations based on locally caught fare. Open daily from 11am the menu is designed around well presented lunches and evening meals that sit along side less formal tapas dishes. Main courses start at around £10 and expect some great things going on with scallops, monkfish, sea bass and a variety of other seafood. The chef balances his offerings with some very well thought out meat and poultry dishes. If three courses intimidate then I suggest skipping the starter and saving room for pudding, anything with chocolate is usually wonderful.
