Just a few steps from the historic Lemon Quay in Truro, Baba is a fine example of contemporary Indian cuisine in a traditional colonial style setting. Crisp white linen and regimented cutlery are the order of the day and you will always find the team to be super attentive and very eager to offer advice regarding the menu. The menu selection can only be described as comprehensive with huge selections of chicken, lamb, seafood, shellfish and vegetable dishes to choose from. All the traditional dishes are here but I recommend going off piste a little and trying some of the chefs more modern creations. All the food is superbly presented, clearly, ingredients used are fresh and I really recommend the delightfully light and buttery sweet garlic Nan. Prices can be a little heavy but there are some good early bird offers in the day time and early evening. -NP- <world cuisine>
