The Punchbowl and Ladle is an old style traditional pub, some parts of it dating back centuries. It's popular with locals and travellers using the King Harry Ferry. They have an a-la-carte menu as well as lunchtime snacks. The food is very good with a varied selection of meats, fish and vegetarian options; the Sunday roast is a particular favourite of mine. The pub and restaurant areas have a great atmosphere which I think is partly due to the fact that the pub has been around for so long. There is a patio area for al-fresco eating on sunny days and sunset evenings. Food is served from 12.00 noon - 2.30pm and 6.00pm - 9.30pm. Snacks however are served from 12.00 noon to 10.00 pm Monday to Sunday. <pub grub>
