The Grove Bistro and Studio Restaurant, Sithney

The Grove, situated just off the main Helston to Penzance road at Sithney, has been the site of a popular restaurant for many years now. Having gone through a few re-inventions, the present bistro-style layout and menu are winners with most people. We visited on a Thursday night in January and the dining room was almost full. The owners, Carl and Rachel, run a highly professional yet friendly business. The food is as good as you would expect from much higher-profile restaurants and served with a flair that comes from years of experience coupled with a feel for modern trends. The excellent service and comfortable ambience, together with the impressive choice of food and wines, make this the place to go to celebrate a special occasion or just when you fancy a great meal out.
