There is an Egyptology exhibition, classical Greek and Roman artefacts, the largest specimen of liroconite ever found, and a large gold nugget found here in Cornwall. The museum hosts regular talks and events, including ones aimed at children, such as 'Glam Rock', where children get to make their own gems. There is also a library, housing many books, periodicals and archives about Cornwall and its people amongst other historical topics.
