Mermaid Pleasure Trips is a family-run business based in Penzance. They offer fishing trips, seal cove cruises and Minack Theatre cruises aboard the MV Mermaid II, a Cygnus Cyfish. The fishing trips are designed to be fun and relaxing, and the crew will help and guide you along if you are new to fishing. The mackerel fishing trips are particularly popular with children. The seal cove cruises last about two hours, taking you along the coastline to St Michael's Mount. Your skipper will keep you entertained with tales of local history and legend, whilst you try to spot seals, dolphins and basking sharks. The Minack Theatre cruise is longer and more romantic, taking you further west down to the theatre, Mousehole and Porthcurno. The skipper will provide commentary along the way as you look out for the basking sharks which frequent the area.
