Landewednack Church Cove to Kennack Sands (3 miles - medium-difficult)

Free parking can be found at the Lizard Green - from here, follow the path along Beacon Terrace, passing the Lizard Pasty Shop, and down into Church Cove. Take the route signposted Cadgwith, staying on the main path. The path will take you up to Balk Beacon, where you will need to climb the hedge to the right of the diamond marker. Next, cross the valley, passing 'The Chair' rock formation, and on to Polbarrow. Where the path forks, take the path to the right, which takes you up past Polgwidden. The path then continues on up past Carn Barrow and 'The Devil's Frying Pan' - this archway was formed when a cave collapsed, and is named so because of the way the sea splashes up into the hole during stormy weather. From here, follow the path down into Cadgwith. Passing the Cadgwith Cove Inn, turn right and head up out of the cove towards the Lookout. Further along the path, you will pass Terrick Colt and Kildown Point. The path then continues around Enys Head and down into Poltesco valley. Walk on out of the valley on to Carleon Cove and head right, crossing the stream. As you climb out of Carleon Cove, you will see the three storey building which was once used by the Lizard Serpentine Company as a warehouse. Your journey continues on through a small golf course and ends with a walk along a road down into Kennack Sands. There are buses back to Landewednack every two hours.
