Treyarnon to Trevone (5 miles - medium difficulty)

There is a large car park at Treyarnon. Facing the sea, bear right and pass the youth hostel. You will see a sign to the left indicating the start of the footpath. As you begin your journey, you will pass two seats and then a stile beside a gate. Keep following the path until it meets Constantine Bay beach. Continue your journey across the beach. Soon you will come to some wooden steps leading up and away from the beach to reach the cliff top again. Climb these steps and join the path to walk above Booby's Bay beach. Soon the path will fork; at this point, take the path to the left and continue on past a large house to your right, and then up towards Trevose Head. Go through a kissing gate and follow the path up Trevose Head. At the top you will be able to see Trevose lighthouse. Keep following the path as signed down and up some steps, and then continue on the path around the headland. Pass a telescope and head towards the caravan park, before following the path behind the beach and going through a kissing gate. You will shortly come to a valley; go down into the valley and up out the other side, climbing up to go through another kissing gate. The path now takes you through a field to Cataclews Point, and then on towards a large house. Pass through another two kissing gates and then climb two stiles, following the path as it takes you across the beach to Harlyn Bay car park. Make your way up the slope to the right and continue on the gravel path through another kissing gate. The path is now fenced on either side, and continues on to a further kissing gate. Continue on the path to your final kissing gate and then bear left as signed. From here, simply follow the path as it takes you down into Trevone.
