Porthluney beach to Dodman Point (3 miles - medium, but quite steep in parts)

Park your car at Porthluney beach and make your way on to the road. Turn right and follow the signs through a kissing gate and into a field. Climb the stile and cross the field diagonally. Climb a further stile, following the path into a wooded are and then up steps to Lamsowden Cove. Climb two further stiles and pass through another kissing gate, then cross the stream by the bridge and climb up to Greeb Point. The path now continues on to Hemmick beach. Once you have passed Clitter's Rock, continue on in to a field and then past the sign for Caerhays. Join the road at this point. Shortly after joining the road, bear right on to the track taking you up Dodman Point. Please bear in mind the ascent here is quite steep. You will now go through another kissing gate - watch out for wild ponies in this area. The path then continues on up to High Point and on towards the granite cross, via a stile, where your journey ends.
