West Looe to Seaton (4 miles - medium to difficult)

Parking can be found at Millpool car park in West Looe. From the car park, walk across the bridge to East Looe. The route starts to the left of the Ship Inn - from here, go up Castle Street and on to the footpath itself. Where the path forks, take the path heading towards the sea. Follow the path along Plaidy Lane down on to Plaidy beach. Leave the beach following the sign on to the road which goes up between some houses. A sign will soon direct you right up a steep lane. Follow the path, bearing to the left and then the right, before taking the steps down into Millendreath. The path continues out of Millendreath on a road marked 'No Through Road'. You will pass 'Blackrock House' and then meet another road. From here, follow the path on to Bodigga Cliff. Keep following the signs towards the sea. Further on, the path will drop quite steeply as you get closer to the sea. Now climb the stile and go past the National Trust sign. Continue on through a gate and walk down the steps to a stile. The path now continues over several more stiles until it reaches an outcrop. After this, cross a further stile and follow the path down into a wooded area. You will have passed the boundaries of the Monkey Sanctuary on your way. Climb several more stiles and a boardwalk across a valley. Keep following the path as signed, going down some steps to take you to just above Keveral beach. The final part of the journey involves climbing 36 steps to another stile, followed by some steep steps down to the road - from here, follow the road to the right down into Seaton.
