Porthtowan to Chapel Porth (1.5 miles - medium difficulty)

At Porthtowan, parking can be found either in the large car park near the beach, or on the roadside. As you look at the sea, head towards the right hand side of the beach and take the (quite steep) path up the side of the cliff. You will pass the Blue Bar and Restaurant on your way. At the top of the cliff you will see there are several paths to choose from, but the path which runs nearest the cliff edge provides the best views. After a while you will pass a bench and the path then joins with another path which has run the same course you have just walked, but more inland. Follow the path down the cliff side into the valley of Chapel Porth. At Chapel Porth, there is a small beach cafe and toilets.
