Padstow to Polzeath (3 miles - easy difficulty)

There are plenty of car parks in Padstow, either in the town itself or on the quay. Once you have parked, head towards the harbour, following signs for North Quay. Then get the ferry across to Rock. When you get to the other side, start your walk by heading along the beach. Keep walking along the beach until you reach Daymer Bay. You will come across a shallow stream - cross it and head towards the car park. From here, follow the signs for the coastpath, passing 'Fishing Cove Field'. Continue on to pass Trebetherick Point and then onto the cliff top, heading towards the large beach at Polzeath. You will soon leave Daymer Bay; when you reach the sign which says 'To the Beach', follow it to Broadagogue beach. Now continue on the path as signed, towards Polzeath. Shortly you will come to Tristram car park just above Polzeath. Pass through the kissing gate and follow the path down to the beach. Finally, make your way across the beach towards Pentire Point, passing Slipper Point to end your journey at Pentireglaze Haven.
