Tintagel to Trevalga (2.5 miles - medium difficulty)

Parking can be found in the main car park in Fore Street, Tintagel. Take the path from the town labelled 'To the Castle'. Continue up the steps to the right to Barras Nose. Go over the boardwalk and where the path forks, take the right hand path. Climb up the steps and then go through a kissing gate. Make your way up Smith's Cliff, ignoring the paths off to the right. Continue up to a large flat grassy area at Willapark, where you will see the remains of an Iron Age castle. Now take the lower path away from Willapark towards Bossiney Haven. Cross the footbridge and then climb the steps (around 50 of them) to cross the stile at the top. You will now be on the national Trust land of Bossiney Cliffs. When you reach the crossroads, take the path which heads east towards Trevalga. Keep following the path through Bossiney Common and you will eventually come to some steps taking you down into Rocky Valley. Cross the stream at the bottom over the bridge, and climb up the other side of the valley. Follow the path on towards Trevalga Cliff. You will pass Trewethett Camping and Caravan Park and then you will need to climb another stile. Make your way up Firebeacon Hill. As you continue you will pass Darvis's Point. Follow the path downhill and cross a stream at the bottom. Where signposted, head right through a kissing gate next to a farm gate and on into Trevalga.
