Newquay - Mawgan Porth Pools and Lakes

Mawgan Porth has two lakes for coarse fishing. The Match Lake is stocked with carp, tench, bream and rudd. The Specimen Lake is stocked with carp, tench, bream and blue and golden orfe. The lakes are open from 7.30am until dusk. Day tickets are �£7, and there is 'Pensioners Day' on Thursdays, where tickets are �£6. Equipment is available for hire, and there are competitions every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. All anglers must have a current rod fishing licence.
