Rock Climbing

Rock climbing is a fantastic outdoor activity to experience while in Cornwall. Climbers from all over the world flock to the county for challenging climbs on imposing sea cliffs. The sweeping coastline of long sandy beaches, harbours and headlands is dotted with steep granite rock faces which tower above stormy seas. Many of the routes are highly technical and for experienced climbers only, but there are also plenty of spots where novices, under supervision, can get their first taste of climbing on rock. As well as sea cliffs, there are rocky outcrops and old quarries of Cornwall's rugged interior to be explored, plus several purpose built indoor climbing walls on which to practice. For further information on rock climbing in the county, please follow the link below to Adventure Cornwall. Adventure Cornwall have many contacts in outdoor pursuits, and are well placed to advise you of where to go and what to do during your Cornish Cottage Holiday.
