Kayaking and Canoeing - Fowey River Expeditions

Fowey River Expeditions offer escorted trips along the River Fowey, in stable, open cockpit canoes. The trips are suitable for all ages and abilities, so you need no previous canoeing experience. On your trip through the wooded valley - largely owned by the National Trust - you might be lucky enough to spot a heron, cormorant or even a kingfisher. Rest stops are made along the way, with refreshments, and the whole trip takes about five hours (around two and half on the water). Each trip is accompanied by experienced staff, a safety boat and an emergency VHF radio. Buoyancy aids must be worn. Please book in advance wherever possible.
