The hamlet of Mawgan Porth is ideally located close to Newquay airport. It has a shop, cafe, pitch and putt and tennis courts. There is also an 18 hole golf course not far away, as well as riding stables. Mawgan Porth has a sandy/shingle beach, and the beach at nearby Watergate Bay offers excellent surfing conditions.
