Manaccan

Manaccan is one of four parishes near the southern bank of the Helford River. Manaccan has a church and there is a take-away Fish and Chip Van on Tuesday evenings throughout the year "Sid Rosevear's". Manaccan is particularly popular with visitors who enjoy walking and boating as it is in close proximity to St Anthony, Gillan Creek and Helford Village. The church of Manaccan, built in the twelfth century, has an ancient fig tree growing out of it. The Cornish Historian, Richard Polwhele, was once a vicar at this church.
