Carbis Bay is a small seaside village just one mile along the coast from St Ives. The beautiful white sandy beach at Carbis Bay has been awarded Blue Flag status, meaning it has superior levels of water quality and beach cleanliness. The South West coastal path runs along from Carbis Bay to St Ives, and the views from this path are truly stunning. A coastal train also runs along the cliffside, transporting passengers between Carbis Bay and St Ives. The village itself has a few convenience stores and a small supermarket, as well as several pubs and restaurants.
