Kennack Sands is a popular, sandy beach which is unmissable for families who love to explore rock pools as well as build sand castles. It is extremely accessible by foot (the coast path runs through it) and by car (the car park is right next to the beach with toilet facilities) and as such, provides the perfect holiday base for visitors of all genres. Even in stormy weather, this beach is worth a visit as the views are dramatic and provide a stunning backdrop for any liaison. The village has several small shops and a pub. Dogs are permitted on the east side of the beach all year round whilst there is a seasonal dog ban on the west beach.
