Par

Par is located on the edge of a part of Cornwall known as Clay Country. The area has a rich history of quarrying and mining, which can be explored at the Wheal Martyn Museum near St Austell. Par is just two miles from the Eden Project, and has a sandy beach which is popular with families. Nearby Luxulyan valley provides some wonderful walks, and the Gribbin peninsula between Par and Fowey accommodates some fine scenery. The Royal Inn bar and restaurant in Par has undergone recent extensive refurbishment, serving excellent food and offering 4 star accommodation.
