South Molton is a small market town in North Devon. The area has plenty of walks and cycle paths, as well as a honey farm, a chocolate factory and an award-winning museum. South Molton has a square of small shops selling all sorts of local crafts and produce, and the town’s main market day is Thursday. South Molton has a town trail and a Heritage Trail, both of which detail the history of the town and its Medieval, Georgian and Elizabethan architecture. Attractions in the area include Watermouth Castle, Exmoor National Park, Exmoor Zoo and Milky Way Adventure Park. Horse riding is also very popular on Exmoor, as is fishing in the area’s numerous lakes and reservoirs.
