The most southerly hotel in Britain, the views alone are well worth a visit. Couple that with fine cuisine and you have an experience rather than just a meal. There are some imaginative starters and side dishes but locally sourced fish or meat is always a good choice. The steak is particularly good and quality accompaniments add to the enjoyment. The hotel atmosphere is refined without being stuffy and non-residents are welcomed lunchtimes and evenings.
