Family-run Skinner's Brewery produces cask-conditioned Cornish ales, lagers and ciders. Skinner's has won more awards than any other brewery in the South West - twice winning the Supreme Champion of the South West award, as well as SIBA UK National Best Bitter Champion of Great Britain. The brewery runs tours for groups or individuals between Easter and October, at the end of which you can sample some of the brewery's famous ales, each named after a character in Cornish folklore. Skinner's products can be bought online or in the brewery's visitor centre in Truro. Look out for the name and be sure to sample at least one of their ales because they vary immensely and it wouldn't be a proper Cornish holiday without a taste!
