Family-run Polgoon, on the outskirts of Penzance, produces cider, wine and fresh organic juices. In 2009, 2010 and 2012 Polgoon Vineyard was voted Best Drinks Producer by readers of Cornwall Life magazine, and received numerous awards for their wines and ciders. The owners of Polgoon run tours of the vineyard every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between March and October, at 2pm - which include a tour of the vineyard, the production area and several tastings. They also host events during the summer months so it's worth checking the website for updates. Polgoon products can be bought at the vineyard, online and in delis, farmshops and restaurants across Cornwall - and at Fortnum & Masons and John Lewis Food Halls in London.
