Helston Folk Museum, located right in the town’s centre, is open all year round except for one week at Christmas. Established in 1949, the museum is housed inside the former butter and meats markets. The collection, consisting mainly of Victorian artefacts, covers life on the Lizard Peninsula, including the area’s social history, mining, fishing and agriculture.
