Cape Cornwall

Cape Cornwall is a small headland just four miles from Land’s End. It is the only cape where two oceans meet in England and is warmed by the waters of the Gulf Stream. Most of the headland is owned by the National Trust. Two rocks named The Brisons are visible and located about one mile offshore. These rocks mark the starting point of the annual swim to Priest’s Cove. The beach at Priest’s Cove is rather rocky but still popular. There is a sentinel at the peak of the headland which can be reached on foot, as well as the remains of an old chapel, St Helen’s Oratory. Cape Cornwall Golf and Leisure Resort which is nearby, offers golf and other leisure facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool, gym and sauna.
